Amy selected the Soldiers Home in Holyoke as her clinical site. The said healthcare facility was founded in 1952 and has licensed nursing staff who operates the long-term care facility. Apart from the activities that are conducted by nurses to achieve high quality care for veterans as highlighted by my colleague, the said facility ensures quality by conducting daily housekeeping inspections at veteran care areas (Bump, 2017). SHH strives to ensure quality care of veterans so as to achieve its core mission which is to provide the highest quality of personalized services with dignity and honor to veterans in Massachusetts.
